"I am a 2 handicap golfer, and have had several swing coaches throughout my life. After only two lessons with Michael, I am confident that my golf game is headed in the right direction, and his advice will be long lasting. Too often, swing instructors will give you a "quick fix" for your problem and send you on your way. One of the biggest differences I have seen between Michael and other swing coaches is that Michael constantly asked the question to me "Okay, what did you do wrong there? Why was that not a good swing?" Instead of me counting on him to diagnose my issue, he pushes me to understand why I hit a bad shot so that way when I am playing in a tournament or just playing casually, I can self diagnose my issue and make adjustments. He likened it to a quote from the movie "The Martian":
"At some point, everything's gonna go south on you and you're going to say, this is it. This is how I end. Now you can either accept that, or you can get to work. That's all it is. You just begin. You do the math. You solve one problem and you solve the next one, and then the next. And If you solve enough problems, you get to come home."
"At some point in your round, something wont go right in your swing. You can either accept it and keep making that mistake, or understand what is causing that miss, and adjust. This is by far the biggest take away from the lessons I have gotten from Michael. I would recommend Michael to anyone who is serious about improving their game LONG TERM, and not looking for a quick fix."
